Cocos Hotel

This is probably one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at , and I have been to quite a few throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas. This family ran operation is an absolute gem and you should stay there. I would go back in a heartbeat. The saltwater pool is so refreshing and so very close to the Playa Amor. The accomodations are comfortable and bathrooms nearly luxurious. It's A 10-15 minute walk to the center of the beach village where the main mercados, restaurants and clubs are located. There are a couple nice restaurants literally a minute or two from the hotel since Cocos provides no food options. Spent 3 wonderful, relaxing, fun days and nights there and will return.

Really beautiful space and very tranquil. The dorms were lovely, very clean and spacious. Great service including towels and keyed lockers. Considering how busy it was, the communal bathrooms were clean. Nice vibe by the pool. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location is perfect for beach access and access to playa amor, but a bit of a walk to the town centre which I didn’t really mind.

Although this hotel is located at the far end of the beach it was very quiet. The pool was refreshing and the many cats were welcoming. The room was very nice with a balcony overlooking the pool.

Quiet, cozy, and ecological. Amenities are great, specially the coffee at the front desk. Staff was friendly and the pool was warm and beautifully lit. Would be great to have better lighting on the path towards the beach

I had a great time here. No mosquitos whatsoever (maybe they treated the area?) and very nice staff. The place is next to playa de l’amor.

One of the best Hostel-Hotel-Resort combo I have every stayed at. Ultra clean and organized, well thought out room layouts, space, washrooms, pool. Love it.

Very nice hotel, all necessary amenities to stay comfortable and in a complete relaxation, rooms are spacious and super clean, hot water and air conditioner, is in the middle of the jungle, 3 minutes walk to Playa del Amor. We seated in the balcony and enjoyed the scenery and landscape, which is in the middle of the jungle, away from any noise, the staff is super friendly, great customer service, is the paradise we were looking for. I suggest to check-in during front desk hours because the place is hard to find if is the first time going there, I attached some pics of the location and to the trail to get to Playa del amor. This hotel has no room service, but there's a convenient store "Abarrotes Betty" just by the entrance where you can buy anything you need for your stay, there are also local family owned restaurants all around that area serving great food, this place is a must if you visit Zipolite, I will definitely come back soon!!! Oh, for those that are worried about the unsafe handrails for kids, this hotel is only for people 17 years or older, so no worries!!

Amazing brand new hotel, tons of attention to detail in the design and decoration, and tucked away in a cool spot in the jungle. Even had coffee and bread rolls for guests in the morning! Only drawback is it wasn’t air conditioned and a bit buggy with the windows open, so bring bug spray!

This hotel just opened a few weeks before my four night stay. It is really nicely designed property in a hilly and green area. When in the room it gave me the impression of being in a tree house. On the other hand some improvements need to be made like having umbrellas at the pool or much more important the danger of falling off the balcony must be solved urgently as there is a huge gap underneath the handrail where you have to be very careful not to step aside, especially at night. And it was a quiet place, which I was very happy about it! The staff was really friendly and helpful to me! Undoubtedly I would book this hotel again on a future stay at Zipolite beach!
